Fantastic school ! If you want your kids to have a wonderful environment and learning, don’t hesitate! My kids went to this school everyday with joy and happiness. All the team is excellent. Head teacher, teachers are really focus on the wellbeing and do everything to encourage them to learn in the best way. Definitely recommend !

My children had been treated fenomenal since the beginning… specially now I do appreciate the time and dedication to our family by the Head Teacher and rest of the staff in this complicated times of COVID19.

Horrible place, teaching is at a very low level, especially arts and sciences. It looks good at first but once you start studying there you realise how god awful it really is. Avoid this school, there are much better options out there.

Our kids were in the BSB Castelldefels summer camp during July 2022. One day we went for a swim in the sports centre next door and to our surprise and delight we saw our kids were also in the pool. That quickly turned into a worry and disbelief, when we noticed that our six year old was in this deep pool together with about 10 class mates, but not a single teacher or supervisor was watching over these kids. We asked where his teachers were and he said he had not seen them. After observing for 7 to 8 minutes, no teacher was to be seen!We all know that anything can happen in deep water with young kids, even within minutes. We asked pool staff about this, who replied that BSB staff was sunbathing on the sunloungers towards the end of the pool and that they couldn’t do anything about it. Terrible! The next day we made a friendly but concerned call to Console, the BSB person in charge of the summer programme. Her reply was that they followed procedures, no mistakes were made, a lifeguard was on duty and they could not offer us anything better than that. That was a very cold reply without any empathy for what a parent may feel about how their kids are (not) looked after. There were about 55 to 60 young kids in the pool that day and one lifeguard on duty. We were horrified by the school’s fairly arrogant reply – as if a parent would leave their 6 year old unattended in a deep pool and walk off, just because a lifeguard is on duty!We decided to take our kids out of this school as we felt our trust was violated and our concerns were brushed off. BSB later refunded the cost of the summer programme, but really what we would have expected instead was empathy and reviewing / addressing the situation instead of a cold and distant reaction to our concerns.We decided we should make other parents aware of the workings and approach of BSB Castelldefels.We had to look for alternatives nearby, and decided tonput our kids into the British College of Gava summer programme instead. We had a very different experience there, with a family type atmosphere despite the fairly large size of the school. The school has a substantial outdoor area with lots of trees and plants, and we liked their fairly modern infrastructure. Our kids seemed very happy there and said the teachers are nicer.At first we kept this experience to ourselves but later decided we should speak out to benefit other parents. If we would have known about BSB’s approach to kids safety concerns, we would not have entrusted them with our kids. Lesson learned.

Yo estoy muy contento con la enseñanza , el trato y la profesionalidad . Además mi hijo es CELIACO y nos han ayudado mucho. Veníamos de Nido Montessori que era una desorganización absoluta y ahora tenemos lo contrario! Muy felices de que nuestro hijo esté aquí! Lo recomiendo sin dudas. Barato no es, pero si lo puedes pagar el cole lo vale!

I never imagined my children being so engaged and enjoying their learning experience like they do.

We joined BSB 18 months ago, having experienced schools in the USA and the UK, and continue to be hugely impressed by the school. Our boys are so happy each day, love their Teachers, friends they have made and the variety of subjects and after school activities offered. We are delighted to be part of the BSB community.
